IT interview experiences

Its TGIF !!!

Every creature in It is usually very happy on this day of week. Now-a-days so many cartoons showing emotions of an employee on various days of week is quite popular.

I am also suppose to be happy, but actually I not that much as I should be.

I have a reason, now a days, I am looking for a job change, no I won't tell the reason, or answer the popular interview question "Why are you looking for a change?"  I am tired of giving answer, anyways, I can share about my recent interview experience and trust me these are not tetchy or boring, YOu want to read it.

Its been almost 8 months, i have started looking for change and still got no offer, yes it is demoralizing and questions my ability and skills.

Well, here you go, when i started the first call i got was from Accenture via facebook, yes they do call, if you send your resume on their facebook id and it matched to requirement, but that day one dancing competition fell on the same time and i had asked them to schedule on telephone. It was going good, i answered all the questions and till date i am waiting for update.

Second i went to Deloitee, yes the big four firm, i was very impressed with the system, a super senior took my interview and saying i have less exp and notice period is too much rejected.

Now, i went to a drive in pune, Capgemini, started at 5 from mumbai, wasted whole day in that fish market and got no result in hand.

Now, I am contacted by BMC software pune, they asked me to give first round to US guy, we talked, he was senior manager, he explained about the job and everything , i got call for next round also, I thought to do some research, the lady i was going to talk to happens to be retired US army personnel, well, the time came, i dialed the so call toll free number ( Indian HR said it was free, but it cost me 600 bugs, which i came to know when i received my phone bill) , and it went like piece of cake, she asked me technical questions as well HR questions and it was splendid.

Now i get to call at their Pune office for F2F interview, so, by looking at past track i was hoping for a positive result, so i went, again i had start at 5 am  from Mumbai, interview as scheduled at 10am and i reached there at 8 am itself.

Well, HR had no idea that i was traveling from Mumbai and she called me at 9.30 and said, "oh ,you are very early"....
